Welcome!
The JGPS forum is a place for JGPS parents to talk about JGPS.
First and foremost, the forum has to be a safe place for anyone and everyone to visit – as a general rule:
- If you wouldn’t say it face-to-face to anyone and everyone in the playground, with kids around you, you probably shouldn’t post it here!
In detail:
- Keep it clean – No swearing, bullying, or harrassment, please. Intolerance will not be tolerated.
- Keep it legal - No advertising, or spam please. (Official JGPS events are of course excepted).
- Keep it relevant – This forum is for talking about JGPS, not the weather etc.
- Maintain your child’s privacy – If you have a specific issue related to your child’s care or education, then the school management is always your first port of call – don’t post it here!
- We reserve the right to moderate all contributions and comments to the forum before they are posted, to ensure they comply with these rules, the law and are relevant to JGPS!
- We reserve the right to edit, decline or remove any post or comment submitted, without explaination.
- Please remember that the views expressed by correspondents may not mirror the views of James Gillespie’s Primary School Council, James Gillespie’s Primary School, or the moderators.
- As deemed necessary, we will purge posts periodically, to keep the number of active messages reasonable and the forum readable and current.
- We’ll add new rules if and when we have to, as we see fit, and we reserve the right to retrospectively apply them.
This forum is provided on an experimental basis by volunteers as a service for the JGPS community; it will be maintained as volunteers time commitments allow, and may be withdrawn at any time.
